Next up we have arguably the strongest street-driven Lumina SSS in the country. With 737 horses let loose through the rear wheels its not hard to understand why!
Lolly Jackson is no stranger to the Torque Universe and this month, we show you a 1500 horsepower – yes you read right – Chevrolet Silverado. This V8 monster sports a massive supercharger, as well as twin stage nitrous oxide for good measure.
When it comes to Evo Lancer’s, no one does them better than Shiva Tuning, and Sal’s wicked Evo IX is a testament to this with a stroked 4G63 lump together with a GT3076R turbo kit, this Evo IX is good for over 500 horses.
All the way from Houston, Texas, where everything is larger than life, we have a 10 second, 600 plus horsepower street Honda Civic, that packs enough wallop to give any supercar a solid run for its money. Check out this coupe monster.
Exclusively for a South African magazine, Torque proudly brings you Corissa Furr. Star of Hot Import Nights. If you dont know who this babe is, just google her and you will see that she is the biggest name in the Import modelling scene in the US of A.
Speaking of babes, we also have the smoking hot Daiana Coronel and then sexy Sulette Wolmarans.
Ian Oberholzer educates us all about water-methanol injection and shows us, with the help of dyno graphs, how it will help your ride. We also profile tuning guides for the 5.7 Lumina SS and the awesome Civic Type-R.
Whether its style or racing, we got your back. Massive buyers guides for racing seats and the smartest steering wheels. Kiruben Moodley allows tells us how to get an Opel Superboss back to running at its very best.

We also bring you coverage from a recent Bunker Racing track day, a BMW track day at Kyalami, the Mtuba Drags, and a Planet Zero Import meet to name a few.
Ok enough about that. This is just some of the awesome content jam packed into the latest and greatest issue of Torque magazine. So, what are you waiting for? Get down to CNA and pick up a copy right now! Enjoy.

Hi Guys,
My family and I are die hard drag and drifting fans. Naturally we try and keep up to date with all the upcoming events held in and around Gauteng. My son recently bought your mag along with a Speed and Sound for our monthly fix, no disrespect but my family and I have attended both SA Drift Championships held in 2009 and if memory serves me correctly, Tim (white Skyline) the owner of the Rock Raceway won the first event followed by Adam (Red Nissan) who won the recent event (June). I would just like to know where Mark Swartz is from and where he is currently drifting? so Nicolaas my son can get an autpgraph to add to his ongoing collection…
Kind Regards
Bianca
Hi guys
Gr8 mag you got, thanks for coming back. Hate that other cheezy mag, what is the name now, I think it’s called Spit & Swallow, Sniff & Suck, or no it’s speed and sound…lol. I won’t forget what I overheard their staff say at a drag meeting once about muslims, i think it was krotch and hole(sorry meant Joel) all laughing together even fannie(sorry meant annie was there too), ever since then I don’t advertise with them and give them my money, because they feel my religion is a joke.
lol, nice names, flippin hilarious. What they did is not fair, if I was you I would shame them, on forums, newspapers etc. Wankers come here to Durbs and thing they are the shit, promise me features but can’t deliver!
Hey guy. Thanks so much for the praise, we really appreciate it. But, as I am sure you can imagine, we don’t want to bad mouthing our fellow journo’s on our website. Without our competitors in the market, this industry wouldn’t survive. Hope you understand
